About Us

Our grandfather started Lester’s Construction in 1964 in South Florida, building much of the infrastructure in Miami and the surrounding area. Years later He decided to sell the construction business and move to North Florida where he purchased 450 acres of heavily wooded land.

With dreams of becoming a cattle farmer, our grandfather and his two sons, our dad Allan and uncle Jimmy spent the next couple of years clearing and grading the land turning it into prime grazing pasture. Being young kids, Mike and I would spend countless hours riding on the Bulldozers, Excavator, and Front end loader with our elders, all the while and unbeknownst to us we were learning many lessons of the trade.

1974 rolled around and our dad moved his family of 5 from the farm to Tarpon Springs in Pinellas County to start his version of Lester’s Construction INC. Later in the years, Paul and Mike became an integral part of Lester’s Construction, yet we would both eventually part with the company to go off and seek new places and new experiences. Always to return home with Civil Construction being in our blood and all the knowledge passed down from our father, Lester’s Grading LLC was born.

Starting out with only a mini excavator digging Florida would carry on. With a deep understanding of the diverse soils and terrain of Florida, our third-generation team brings over 70 years of combined experience to handling projects of any scale and complexity. From small residential improvements to moderately sized commercial developments, we have the skills and equipment to get the job done right. Our reputation for delivering exceptional results is built on a foundation of hard work, integrity, and dedication to our clients' visions.
